Halta D.
Formed by Derby based guitarist and producer Richard Belfitt, to fully realise a musical project that originated during the hibernation of the Covid lockdown. Fuelled by a heady mix of acid jazz and fusion jazz, with vital ingredients reminiscent of bands such as Azymuth, Casiopea and early experimental Level 42, as an attempt to fuse his diverse musical influences into a whole of catchy melodies and infectious grooves.
Halta D's sound is augmented by the musical talents of Pete Beardsworth (synth, flute, sax and percussion), Glenn Hicks (electric bass), Anya Aujla-Jones (keys) and Ben Glover (drums).
The Dimbleby/Williams Experience.
Formed by keyboardist & multi-instrumentalist Robert Dimbleby and saxophonist Jack Williams. two most exciting jazz musicians in London today. Despite still being in their twenties, they are constantlycompared to the greats of the past, drawing comparisons with Wayne Shorter, Sonny Rollins, Michael Brecker, Josef Zawinul, Joe Sample and Bill Evans.
Gary Reader's "Moja Fan's"
Formed by saxophonist Gary Reader. "Moja Fan's" approach is a high energy combination of spiritual jazz of the late 1960's and early 70's combined with such influences as hip hop and drum & bass, building a fresh sound from the legacy of greats including Alice Coltrane, Pharaoh Sanders and Ethiopian Jazz. The Quartet is led by Gary Reader, with Jack Benjamin on electric bass, Owen Campbell on percussion and Lucas Walters on keyboards.
